A principal at Powers & Moon, LLC, Powers graduated with distinction in 1992 from the University of Iowa College of Law. She has focused her practice on collections and creditor’s rights since 1995, with an emphasis on healthcare reimbursement since 1998. Powers has worked extensively with providers nationwide, educating them on Silent PPO access, as well as improper discounts, denials and delays. Powers’ efforts have resulted in millions of dollars in recoveries for healthcare providers through insurance appeals and negotiation. Additionally Powers has recouped millions of previously ‘written-off’ dollars in Silent PPO disputes.
David H. Moon, Esq.

A principal at Powers & Moon, LLC, Moon is a 1996 graduate of the DePaul University College of Law. He has focused his practice on health care reimbursement since 1997. Moon has successfully mediated and arbitrated contentious matters resulting in significant recoveries for clients. A member of the Federal Trial Bar, he has supervised litigation in multiple states and jurisdictions, gaining admission pro hac vice in several forums. Since entering the field, Moon has personally recovered millions of dollars for health care providers, including several million-dollar settlements.
